     Remote Deposit

"Remote Deposit from Biltmore Bank is great. It's been so easy to use and really helped
manage the cash flow of our business. We get a lot of checks through out the day, and with
Remote Deposit we can deposit the money as soon as it comes in rather than waiting for a
courier or for one our employees to run to the bank."
     – Sally Stultz, President Pioneer Distributing

     Ease of Use

Easy to install and easy to use. We'll come out and install the system in just a few clicks of the
mouse and then you can start making deposits when it's convenient for you.

     Quality Equipment and Quality Service

Our top of the line scanners reduce the number of rejected items, so you'll spend less time
trying to correct problems. If you do have a question or concern, you'll talk to our local staff that
knows your business and helped install your system.

     Simplified Pricing

We keep it simple by offering a flat monthly fee and reduced deposit item charges. Unlike other
banks, we don't nickel and dime you on every possible feature; file transmission, returned
     items, etc.

     How does it work?                                                                                               TOP

When Congress passed Check 21 legislation, it required all U.S. banks to accept substitute
checks sometimes called IRDs (Image Replacement Documents) made from digital copies of
originals. This allows you to scan a check for deposit and send the electronic check image to
The Biltmore Bank of Arizona. We transmit the image to the Federal Reserve, which in turn
sends the check to your customer’s bank. The Fed either prints the check image on secure,
watermarked paper, creating an IRD, or electronically transmits the image.

     Frequently Asked Questions                                                                                TOP

WHAT TYPES OF CHECKS CAN BE PROCESSED?
Any check in U.S. dollars, drawn on a domestic U.S. bank, with valid U.S. Routing and Transit
numbers is accepted. This includes personal checks and business checks.

HOW LATE CAN I MAKE A DEPOSIT AND STILL GET SAME-DAY CREDIT?

You can make deposits until 5:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. Deposits made after that will
be posted the next business day.

     WHAT IS AN IRD?

An Image Replacement Document (IRD) is a paper reproduction of the original check that is
suitable for automated processing in the same manner as the original check.

HOW WOULD I RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF AN NSF?

We send the IRD to you for review and will follow up with a phone call.

HOW LONG CAN I STORE THE HISTORY ON MY COMPUTER?
You can choose the length of time you’d like to keep deposits in the transmission history.
Additionally you can export these reports as needed.

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE CHECK AFTER I MAKE THE DEPOSIT?

We recommend that you store the original check in a secure location for at least 31 days.
